This last Wednesday Aaron and I made a trip back up to our home in Rawlins. We've been staying with my parents for the last little while for Aaron to work in Salt Lake and at the last minute decided to go take care of a couple things at home. Most wouldn't consider taking a trip to your own house as being a mini vacation, but when you've been away from your home as long as we have it was a little get-a-way for the two of us. Since we will be spending Christmas with our families in Utah we decided that it would be fun to have a early mini Christmas at our own house while we were there. Aaron's parents had given us a tree and some lights so we put it up in our living room with some decorations that we had bought while listening to Christmas music and even opened up one present to each other. It was a lot of fun having our first little Christmas together. It made us wish that we were having Christmas there, but we look forward to spending our first real Christmas at our house next year, since it will be Braiden's first Christmas as well.
