Maybe this will work...:)

In the hospital Braiden didn't want anything to do with Emma. "No" was his answer when we would ask him if he'd like to hold the baby. Three days after Emma was born Braiden would point to her bottles and anything that was hers and say "babies?" and loved to bring her all of her things. About four days after she was born he went over to her swing and put his arms out to her. I jumped at the chance for him to hold her. It lasted about a minute and a half total, but it was progress. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera because it was so spur of the moment. Finally three days ago we had a little photo shoot for Emma in a little Ballerina tutu I made her and Braiden wanted to be a part of it. He held her for a couple minutes here and there and luckily we got a picture. I'm starting to think that this might work out after all...he might actually like her and they will actually get a long. He is the first one to run to her when she cries or makes any kind of noise. I have to be careful and watch him because he now tries to pick her up and take her out of her swing. Most of the time he just tries to feed her or shove the binky back in her mouth. He is such a great helper! And is going to be such a great big brother :)
